A Man's Who Walked The Talk
Ash - as I used to know him when he was my roommate - definitely walked the talk - by hiking the entire PCT. I met him after this.

I finally got your book today. I read it from cover to cover today, I could not put it down. You did something I could only dream of doing, it was an amazing journey and I felt like I was hiking the trail with you. Your book made me laugh and it made me cry. Your decision in the end regarding Pro Verbs made me see the finality of the decision you made in accepting our Lord. Once I finished the book I clearly saw the commonality of the journey of the PCT and my journey with Jesus.

"Going Home" Took Me Home.
Terrific work. Young really lets you accompany him on his trek, right in his hiking boots not only all the way down the the Pacific Crest Trail, but also on the greater Trail that follows. As you read, you're introduced to the array of extremely colorful characters he meets along the way as well as numerous experiences that occur on his trek. Just when you think the end of the journey is in sight, the adventure continues and an entirely new set of experiences emerge.

It's a great read. It has a great ending. The people he talks about are interesting. It was awesome reading the struggles. I cant really imagine going through this personally. The only downside is the author has moments where a time skip will take place but it isnt throughly stated a time skin happened. Other than that it was great!
